The Founder

BEACHBUMCLUB Swimwear was founded in Halifax, Nova Scotia by Emily Sims. In 2020, during her studies Emily began by sewing her own swimwear using a small old sewing machine in her apartment. Her passion in creating new pieces inspired her to build this brand from scratch around brand pillars including women empowerment, inclusivity, and adjustability. 

Our team consists of the founder, our seamstresses, and our community of beach bums who help us in the design and inspiration process of all our products.
